The crimes that Democrats are allowing to happen are completely unthinkable.
It’s horrifying just how bad their insanity has made inner cities.
This brutal attack of a Fox News reporter in a Democrat city shows just how bad things are.
A Fox News meteorologist said Sunday that about eight teenagers jumped him on a New York City subway after he intervened to stop them from harassing an old man.
Adam Klotz, 37, a meteorologist for FOX News Channel and FOX Business Network, posted a video on Instagram. His face in the video was bruised and battered from the reported attack which happened as he was returning on his way home on the No. 1 train after watching the New York Giants’ NFL playoff game at a bar.
Klotz stepped in when he saw “this older gentleman was being hassled by this group of seven or eight teens.”
“I was like, ‘Yo, guys, cut that out.’ And they decided, ‘All right, if he’s not going to get it, you’re going to get it.’ And boy did they give it to me,” Klotz said. “They had me on the ground. My ribs are all bruised up, too. They got their hits in.”
Klotz then asked where the parents of the teenagers were, asking, “Where are the parents? Parents, watch your children.”
Klotz said the older gentleman left without injury while he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Bellevue Hospital.
“I’m OK,” he said. “This is all going to heal. So, it’s all good.”
A source told the New York Post that two 15-year-olds and a 17-year-old were soon caught by cops.
However the police quickly released them.
“Juvenile reports were prepared, and their parents were called to pick them up,” a representative for the NYPD said Sunday.
An NYPD spokesman claimed on Sunday that due to the alleged attackers’ ages the police had no choice but to release them without charges.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg early in January released a memo detailing the changes he’s making, including new charging, bail, plea and sentencing policies.
He released a full list of crimes he would not be prosecuting including marijuana misdemeanors, including selling more than three ounces; not paying public transportation fare, trespassing except a fourth-degree stalking charge, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration in certain cases, and prostitution.
Bragg also said that he would “reserve pretrial detention for very serious cases,” according to the memo, and limiting the number of underage defendants in adult courts.
“Safety is paramount. New Yorkers deserve to be safe from crime and safe from the dangers posed by mass incarceration. We will be tough when we need to be, but we will not be seeking to destroy lives through unnecessary incarceration,” Bragg said on Twitter.
It’s Democratic policies that are directly leading to the crime wave sweeping through American cities.
