The best way to tell if a Democrat is lying is if their mouth is moving.
But some lies are worse than others.
And a top Democrat was just caught in an embarrassing lie that could end it all.
Democrats are having a hard time choosing who they will run against President Donald Trump in 2020.
While there is usually at least one candidate who sticks out at this point in a presidential campaign, there is nobody very exciting.
Leading the pack is Joe Biden, who may be the most disappointing Democrat frontrunner in history.
Even his most fervent supporters continue to be disappointed by him.
And Barack Obama, who is the only reason people know who Biden is, refuses to throw his support behind him.
But it isn’t just Biden.
Currently, Elizabeth Warren is climbing in the polls, even passing Biden in some polls.
Warren as a candidate takes many of the positions of socialist Bernie Sanders while eschewing the socialist label.
And as it turns out, that message is rather popular.
She is on the verge of becoming the frontrunner, but continues to fall short of truly taking that position.
Her supporters were hoping to change that with a massive rally in New York City at the historic Madison Square Garden.
And the rally brought out a solid number of supporters, at least when comparing crowd sizes with Biden, who oftentimes has trouble filling a small school gymnasium.
Following the rally, Warren and her supporters bragged about having over 20,000 people, which would be extremely impressive, and nearly rival that of Donald Trump, who brings out tens of thousands with every appearance.
But their claim of 20,000 is being called into question due to statements from the New York City Parks Department.
The Parks’ Assistant Commissioner for Communication, Crystal Howard, told Breitbart News that the rally wasn’t set up for an audience of that size.
According to Howard, she “can’t corroborate the campaign’s count,” stating that the permit for the rally was for 8,000 to 10,000 people.
She goes on to explain that the park’s department believes the park can only hold 10,000 people.
While this fact is embarrassing, it shows a trend within the Warren campaign.
After a recent rally in St. Paul, Minnesota, the campaign claimed they had 12,000 people.
But the best estimates of the crowd size showed between 4,000 and 6,000 people in attendance.
There is no doubt that Warren has a lot of momentum on her side.
But with lies like these, many will begin to lose faith in her campaign.
One of the big Democrat talking points following the 2016 election of President Trump was claims that his inauguration crowd size was remarkably smaller than Barack Obama’s.
To make the point, they were using pictures of the event before the entire crowd could get through crowded security checkpoints.
And the left also leaves out the fact that Washington, D.C. is far from friendly to Trump, who only brought in 4% in the notoriously left-wing city.
If they are going to claim Trump was lying about his crowd size, then they should really call out Warren.
