There is nobody in America doing more to support Trump’s re-election than the Democrat Party.
They are getting more extreme by the day.
And a top Democrat just admitted one fact which guarantees Trump’s re-election.
There may be no major candidate for President who is as extreme as Bernie Sanders is.
The best example of just how insane his proposals are is his version of the “Green New Deal,” to combat climate change.
It will cost taxpayers $16 trillion, and do away with oil and gas energy within 10 years, which many predict would force the U.S. economy into a depression.
So naturally, that was the most important issue for him to discuss during the recent CNN town hall on climate change.
Anderson Cooper gave him a very simple question about the $16 trillion proposal.
“There are folks out who just heard you say – talk about higher taxes and taxpayers out there paying more,” Cooper said.
“Would you guarantee to the American public tonight that the responsibility for $16.3 trillion, which is a massive amount of money, wouldn’t end up on taxpayers’ shoulders? ” he asked.
Sanders quickly found a way to dismiss it by pointing out that it will mostly affect those in the fossil fuel industry.
“Well, it will end up on some taxpayers’ shoulders. If you are in the fossil fuel industry, you’re going to be paying more in taxes, that’s for sure,” Sanders said.
He then pivoted away from the question to instead focus on his favorite straw man argument of “income inequality,” while not at all answering the question in front of him.
“And I happen to believe, in general, that at a time when we have massive levels of income and wealth inequality, where the richest three people in this country own more wealth than the bottom half of American society, where major profitable corporations like Amazon, who made over $10 billion in profits last year, didn’t pay a nickel in taxes, am I going to guarantee Jeff Bezos he’s not going to be paying more in taxes? No, I won’t.”
This is a classic Bernie Sanders move.
He goes off on a tangent unrelated to what the people actually want to hear.
In reality, he never states whether it would affect the middle class, which his proposal most definitely will.
It won’t just affect them through tax increases that will be required; it will also destroy countless U.S. jobs in the oil and gas industry.
These are the sorts of proposals that Democrats are embracing.
And at the same time, President Trump is working to create jobs for U.S. workers.
His trade deals and tax cuts are giving millions of Americans the ability to either get back to work, or find better paying work.
The unemployment rate is currently reaching historic lows, with minority unemployment being lower than it ever has been.
And while Trump is doing this, Democrats are going on television bragging about how they will put an end to these economic wins.
