RINO Republicans caved to the Democrats demands that the FBI further investigate Brett Kavanaugh.
It’s their latest ploy to delay his confirmation past the midterms.
But Trey Gowdy stunned everyone when he dropped a bombshell about what the FBI will find.
Republicans Cave To Democrats Demands For An FBI Investigation
Arizona Senator Jeff Flake stabbed conservatives in the back.
He buckled in the face of media pressure and joined the Democrats demands for a one-week FBI investigation.
But will the FBI find anything?
Christine Blasey Ford gave the names of three witnesses whom she claimed would back up her story.
Every one of them has said they do not remember this party.
Likewise, Deborah Ramirez named two men and one woman that she claimed witnessed Brett Kavanaugh expose himself to her during a college party.
All three of them denied Ramirez’s account.
In addition, the New York Times would not run her story because they could not corroborate it.
These allegations are false.
Ford and Ramirez have no credibility.
Trey Gowdy Reveals What FBI Will Find
In an interview on CBS’s ‘Face the Nation,’ Gowdy revealed what the FBI will find.
The FBI is just conducting interviews.
They are not running a criminal investigation.
The witnesses who submitted letters to the committee denying Ford’s account did so under penalty of perjury.
The FBI interviewing them will not produce different results.
Trey Gowdy pointed out that the FBI will just take everyone’s statements and submit a report.
“I have no issues with the FBI taking a second, third, eighth look if that’s what it takes to find out what happened and to fully air all the facts,” Gowdy said. “I just want people to have realistic expectations.”
“So the only role I can see the bureau playing is identifying other witnesses that may have knowledge. Some of that has already been done by Dr. Ford,” Gowdy stated.
“Judge Kavanaugh’s defense is he wasn’t there, so you wouldn’t expect him to produce witnesses, but I don’t know what people expect the FBI to do,” he concluded. “They’re not human polygraphs. They can’t tell us who is telling the truth.”
Democrats Will Still Complain
No one expects the FBI to find anything new.
But there is little chance the Democrats will accept their findings.
They will whine and complain that not enough witnesses were interviewed.
Additionally, they will rant that the FBI did not investigate the claims by Julie Swetnick.
Swetnick alleges Kavanaugh spiked girls’ drinks at high school parties so other boys could gang rape them.
She also claims Kavanaugh was present at a party where several boys gang-raped her.
However, no one can corroborate her story either.
The FBI deemed her not credible.
That is why they won’t interview her.
Democrats also want the FBI to investigate Kavanaugh’s drinking history during high school and college.
They claim Kavanaugh lied under oath about his drinking.
But he admitted he sometimes drank too many beers.
He never denied drinking to excess on occasion.
The truth doesn’t matter.
Democrats want to hold this seat open.
And they will pull any trick in the book in order to do so.
