The corporate media pulled every trick in the book to drive Donald Trump from office.
But these partisan propagandists crossed a line.
And Trey Gowdy dropped the hammer on the anti-Trump media with one reality check.
On his new Sunday night show,Trey Gowdy attacked the corporate media for acting like partisan activists and not a neutral observer.
Gowdy began his monologue noting how he was watching the College Baseball World Series when a couple of bad calls by the umpire nearly caused him to start screaming at the TV.
The former South Carolina congressman compared how sports fans sometimes feel the umpires are biased against them to how Americans perceive politics.
“But what happens when the perception actually becomes reality? What if the societal referee really is biased?” Gowdy began. “What if the national umpire really is calling it differently for this team than for the other team? If you were to ask half our country what’s the biggest issue we’re facing, as a country, they might say unfairness in economic opportunity, or unfairness in our justice system, and we hear it a lot. We hear about rigged systems and everybody doesn’t play by the same rules. Meanwhile, the other half of the country also believes the system is rigged.”
Gowdy explained that Republican voters believe the media rigs the game against them because the “errors” made by the national media all run in one direction – against Donald Trump and the GOP.
“It’s just a different system, rigged by different people. The other half believes it’s the media. It’s higher education. It’s politics that is stacked or rigged or biased against one orthodoxy or ideology. The symptoms are different, but the underlying pathology is the same, and the underlying pathology is a belief that unfairness is pervasive,” Gowdy continued. “We can handle mistakes. We should not accept a lack of fairness from any institution. The institution which is supposed to be that neutral detached referee is the media. Supposed to be but at least half the country believes the referee is really pulling for the other side.”
Donald Trump recently released a statement listing ten stories where the corporate media accused Donald Trump of being a liar or promoting conspiracy theories only to have it come out later that Trump was telling the truth and the media was the one lying.

Conservative radio host Jesse Kelly said this was no accident.
The media is not making honest mistakes when they get these stories wrong.
Instead, Kelly pointed out that the media was purposefully lying to advance a political agenda and narrative.
“We don’t have media ‘screwups’. Don’t give them that out. These endless lies are very intentional. These people hate your guts and will lie endlessly to help their friends and destroy your way of life. We have GOT to stop this rose-colored glasses thinking on the Right,” Kelly wrote.
This is what Trey Gowdy meant when he said half the country believes the national umpire – the corporate media – rigs the game against them.
