Donald Trump and his supporters are wondering what is going on.
Multiple investigations into the Obama administration and FBI’s abuses of power during the 2016 Presidential election failed to yield any criminal charges.
But that could be about to change because Trey Gowdy just broke this major news about an Obama ally going to jail.
When the Justice Department announced it would not pursue criminal charges against disgraced former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, many Trump supporters wondered what it would take to see justice done for the crimes committed against the Trump campaign and the American people during the 2016 election.
Trey Gowdy may have provided a clue during an interview with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures.”
During the interview, Bartiromo asked Gowdy about a transcript of an interview with Trump campaign foreign policy aide George Papadopoulos in which Gowdy said contained evidence the FBI knew right from the start that the Trump campaign was innocent of colluding with the Russians.
Bartiromo asked Gowdy, “Very quickly before you go, I got to ask you about this exculpatory evidence you have seen. You broke the news on this program over a year ago that there was a transcript of a conversation between George Papadopoulos, I said that not you, and an informant where basically George Papadopoulos said to the guy, ‘No, I would never do that. That’s treason!’ What else do we need to know about that exculpatory piece of evidence?”
Gowdy told Bartiromo that the FBI omitted this evidence from applications for FISA warrants to spy on former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.
“Well, I want you to imagine this hypothetically, Maria. Imagine that you’re accused of a crime and this is your response. Number one, I didn’t do it. So, factually that’s pretty important. I didn’t do it. Number two, I would never do that because it is a crime for which you can be put to death and it is a crime against a country that I love. If that’s your response to an accusation that you engaged in improper conduct, that is textbook exculpatory evidence. You really can’t draw up a better piece of exculpatory evidence than, I didn’t do it, I would never do it, it’s a crime to do it. So, if that happened, then the court needed to know about it.” Gowdy responded.
Lying to a FISA court is against the law.
And this crime could be one possible avenue of investigation that explains why United States Attorney John Durham is now conducting a criminal probe into the origins of the Russian collusion hoax.
Deep State agents also sent up warning flares that they believe some of their associates are in criminal jeopardy.
In an interview on MSNBC, Democrat prosecutor and Robert Mueller attack dog Andrew Weissmann said Attorney General Barr appointing U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri Jeffrey Jensen to investigate the FBI’s conduct in the Michael Flynn case meant the Justice Department opened up a criminal investigation into James Comey, Andrew McCabe and Peter Strzok.
“All they did was swapped out a loser case for starting an investigation that is going to be of Comey, McCabe, Pete Strzok,” Weissmann told left-wing host Chuck Todd.
Trump supporters have become increasingly outraged that Obama partisans and Deep State loyalists can walk through the rain drops on their alleged crimes and not face any charges.
These latest announcements of new criminal investigations could be the last chance for holding the corrupt FBI and Obama administration officials accountable for perpetrating the Russian collusion fraud on the American people.
