The walls are closing in on Barack Obama and his Deep State henchmen.
Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report outlined the criminal wrongdoing committed by the FBI when the Bureau spied on the Trump campaign.
And Trey Gowdy made one Obama ally’s life miserable with this rude awakening.
Once Inspector General Horowitz made his report public, the American people immediately understood why Deep State leakers fed stories to fake news CNN and the New York Times claiming Horowitz’s report “debunked” Donald Trump’s so-called “conspiracy theories.”
In fact, the report confirmed the worst as Horowitz recounted in great detail the criminal conspiracy concocted by James Comey and his Obama Deep State allies to spy on the Trump campaign.
In an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “The Story” hosted by Martha MacCallum, Gowdy explained how the pretext of the Russia collusion investigation was a fraud and infected with anti-Trump bias.
To win a FISA warrant against an American citizen – Gowdy explained to MacCallum’s viewers – the FBI has to prove that an American acted as an agent of a foreign government.
The FBI tricked a judge into approving a FISA warrant against former Trump campaign aide Carter Page by using the fake news Christopher Steele dossier as “evidence” as well as doctoring an email to claim Page was not working on behalf of the CIA to bust a Russian spy ring when in fact Page was a CIA asset.
“I mean, keep in mind, a counterintelligence investigation is because you think Carter Page is working on behalf of Russia,” Gowdy declared. “The reality is Carter Page, who is working on behalf of the United States of America and you changed it from he is a [CIA] source [to] he’s not a source, which is a manifestly unfair thing to do to Carter Page.”
Gowdy also took issue with Inspector General Horowitz’s finding that there was no political bias involved with the FBI’s decision to open the investigation.
“So, when Horowitz says there was no bias in the inception; there was a lot of bias from every point thereafter, including an FBI lawyer manufacturing evidence to get a surveillance warrant against an American citizen,” Gowdy added.
The conduct by the FBI that Horowitz outlined made it impossible for any rational human being to accept the idea that there was no bias involved in the FBI’s Russia investigation.
At every step of the way, the FBI continually found out the idea that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government was a lie.
And yet the investigation continued.
The FBI even manufactured evidence and lied to judges to frame Carter Page as a Russian spy.
FBI agents only would have gone to such lengths if they were convinced Donald Trump and his campaign were guilty of conspiring with Russian intelligence.
And that is a clear example of anti-Trump bias.
