Barack Obama and his allies’ criminal conduct during the 2016 election is slowly coming to light.
Calls for prosecution and criminal charges grow louder every day.
And then Trey Gowdy told the one truth that has Barack Obama’s FBI allies fearing prison.
The Department of Justice recently released documents from the FBI’s investigation into former Trump National Security Advisor Michael Flynn – who was a decorated hero that served 33 years honorably in the United States military – for supposedly being a Russian agent.
Included in the documents’ evidence is the fact that the FBI planned to close their investigation into Flynn because their fishing expedition turned up no proof he colluded with the Russians during the 2016 election.
At that point in time, Trump-hating Deep State loyalist Peter Strzok stepped in and demanded the investigation into Flynn remain open.
Trey Gowdy explained just how horrifying these new developments were during an appearance on Fox News.
“In December of 2016, they had nothing. So they’re about to close the investigation without even interviewing him. Keep in mind, they had no interest in interviewing Michael Flynn. They’re about to close the case. Then you get the call with Kislyak,” Gowdy began.
But that was just the start of the FBI’s politically motivated scheme to terrorize Lt. General Flynn and his family.
Included in the documents was a handwritten note from a top FBI official – believed to be Bill Priestap – that stated one reason to interview Lt. General Flynn about his December call to the Russian ambassador was to catch him in a lie so they could get him fired or prosecute him.
“And Peter Strzok seems more interested in setting up an American general than he is figuring out what the Russian generals were doing to this country. They send two agents over there without informing the White House, without informing the Department of Justice, and they wanted to set him up. That is not the FBI that this country needs,” Gowdy added.
To set up this interview, the FBI concocted a criminal rationale based on the 1799 Logan Act – which has never been used to successfully prosecute an American and is likely unconstitutional.
“So, I’m going to ask you [Maria Bartiromo] and your viewers, which of those words come to mind when you think of Peter Strzok promising to stop candidate Trump, interested in the impeachment, but not the interference?” Gowdy asked.
Gowdy then said the letters in “FBI” stood for “fidelity,” “bravery” and “integrity.”
At that point Gowdy launched into a stem-winder asking how the FBI’s conduct in targeting Lt. General Flynn for destruction over politics helped the FBI live up to those values.
“Which of those three words comes to mind when you hear Jim Comey say, we’re going to see what we can get away with, or when you read notes about a pretextual defensive briefing?” Gowdy began.
“Which of those three words that are supposed to personify the FBI, which of those three words do you think about over the last four years, when the world’s premier law enforcement agency has been riddled with bias and incompetence?” Gowdy concluded.
Many Americans are not amused.
Chief among them are Attorney General William Barr and United States Attorney John Durham.
Barr tasked Durham with investigating the origins of the Russian collusion hoax.
Last October, reports indicated Durham was now pursuing a criminal investigation.
And the sentiments Trey Gowdy expressed are likely to manifest themselves in criminal charges against top-ranking FBI and intelligence community officials.
