Barack Obama and his Deep State allies are watching their world crumble right before their very eyes.
The cover-up they carefully crafted imploded.
Now Trey Gowdy warned of one problem that Barack Obama thought no one would notice.
Another shoe dropped in the Obamagate scandal.
Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell announced he would declassify the transcripts of the phone calls between incoming National Security Advisor Michael Flynn and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the 2016 presidential transition.
These phone calls formed the pretext for the FBI to frame Flynn as a traitor to Russia and interview him in January 2017, which ultimately led to the criminal charges against him.
Former South Carolina Congressman Trey Gowdy appeared on Fox News Channel’s “The Story” with Martha MacCallum to explain to the American people what they would learn from the transcripts.
Gowdy noted that when he was on the House Intelligence Committee, the FBI claimed they were not in possession of all the transcripts of phone calls between Flynn and Kislyak.
“I think that you will look at the ones that they actually captured. I think there were multiple calls, and some of the transcripts didn’t come through — at least, that was the explanation we were given,” Gowdy told MacCallum.
There have been reports in recent days that Flynn was not masked – meaning his identity was not concealed in transcripts – for the phone calls the FBI used as the basis to investigate him.
That meant the FBI wiretapped the Russian ambassador’s phone.
If they are not in possession of all the transcripts, then where are the rest?
Gowdy also noted that Americans would be sorely disappointed when they did get a chance to read the Flynn-Kislyak transcripts.
Far from showing any evidence of international intrigue and espionage, Gowdy explained that the phone calls were nothing more than routine conversations.
“I think when the transcripts are released, you’re gonna be bored out of your mind. And you’re going to wonder, ‘This is criminal? This is enough to target a three-star general? This conversation?'” Gowdy added. “The ones that are available, I have read. I think the FBI told us they didn’t capture all the calls — some of them they missed. Don’t know what was on those, but you will be bored out of your mind.”
When reports first surfaced in 2016 that Flynn was suspected of colluding with the Russians, many Americans dismissed the speculation as absurd.
Flynn served his country for 33 honorable years as a decorated military officer.
The transcripts will show that the only reason the FBI targeted Flynn was out of political bias and a desire to destroy Donald Trump’s presidency.
That could explain why the FBI and intelligence community spent years trying to hide the truth about the investigation into Michael Flynn and Russia from the American people.
