The Democratic field for President is quickly turning into one of the most vicious fights in history.
But while candidates are scrambling for spots in the upcoming debates, one campaign is collapsing at break neck speed.
And now, this Trump challenger was just hit with a devastating poll that ended his campaign.
Robert “Beto” O’Rourke was supposed to be the Democratic nominee for President.
The liberal superstar who catapulted himself to national fame by losing a Senate race to Ted Cruz last year had emerged as a favorite for the nomination for President late last year.
And when he launched his campaign earlier this year, there were high expectations across the board.
But Beto’s campaign has since taken a complete nosedive.
And it’s only gotten worse since then.
With everything on the line in the coming months as Beto’s campaign struggles to stay afloat, he’s now gotten news that could spell the end of his disastrous bid for the White House.
Beto O’Rourke is now polling at 0% in New Hampshire.
And with numbers that low, it’s no surprise that rumors that his campaign is imploding are spreading like wildfire.
It seems no one in New Hampshire likes Beto or thinks he can become the next President.
Beto couldn’t even beat out Washington Governor Jay Inslee in this New Hampshire poll, who is also struggling to answer questions about why he’s even bothering to run for President.
While the St. Anselm College poll shows that Beto is dead last in the state, that wasn’t always the case.
Just a matter of months ago, WMUR, a news station in New Hampshire, had Beto standing at just under 5% in the Democratic primary there.
But he’s since collapsed across the board as voters moved on to support other candidates like Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, and Elizabeth Warren.
Even Marianne Williamson, who holds the title of being perhaps the most bizarre Democrat in the race for President, is beating Beto in the critical early primary state.
This is, without a doubt, a major wake up call for Beto’s campaign.
But the problem the former Texas congressman is facing is that it may already be too late to turn the ship around.
Beto’s collapse came at the same time that the field was starting to settle with respect to which candidates were going to jump into the race.
Between April and July, more candidates jumped into the field and the race was settled at 25 candidates.
Beto’s collapse likely took place as voters moved to support other candidates as they came along.
And there’s no reason to think that he will be winning back those voters any time soon.
This means that the New Hampshire poll could mark the final end of Beto’s sad campaign for the White House.
While he’s made it to the next Democratic debate, it may be only a matter of time before his race comes to a close.
