Chuck Schumer had one goal since the day Donald Trump took office.
And that was to make Trump a one-term President.
But Donald Trump just gave the one order that was Chuck Schumer’s most humiliating defeat.
Obstruction is the key to Schumer and the Democrats plan to destroy Trump.
If Schumer and the Democrats could deny Trump political and legislative victories, they believed it would grind down the President’s support and render Trump unelectable in 2020.
Immigration was the centerpiece of this strategy.
Democrats filed lawsuit after lawsuit with friendly Obama judges blocking any attempts to put Trump’s “Make America Great Again” agenda into action.
And now that there are over 100,000 illegal aliens threatening to invade America every month, Democrats are threatening to filibuster any legislative action that would end the ability of illegal aliens to enter America with fraudulent asylum claims.
So the President tweeted out a video of over 1,000 illegal aliens storming across the Southern border and accused the Democrats of refusing to help stop this invasion.
“Yesterday, Border Patrol agents apprehended the largest group of illegal aliens ever: 1,036 people who illegally crossed the border in El Paso around 4am. Democrats need to stand by our incredible Border Patrol and finally fix the loopholes at our Border!” Trump wrote.

But President Trump did more than just tweet.
When he met with reporters to slam Robert Mueller for his unethical investigation, the President also let it be known that he had a major announcement about the border in store.
“This is a big-league statement, but we are going to do something very dramatic on the border because people are coming into our country, the Democrats will not give us laws, they will not change laws, they will not meet they will not do anything,” President Trump told the press.
Many Americans wondered what President Trump had up his sleeve.
It soon became clear.
The Trump administration was preparing new rules that would effectively end all asylum claims by illegal aliens from Central America.
“The asylum procedures are ridiculous,” Trump also told reporters. “No place in the world has what we have in terms of ridiculous immigration laws.”
What the Trump administration plans to unveil are rule changes designed to deny asylum to illegal aliens who resided in a country other than their own before entering the United States.
Politico exclusively reported on comments from open-borders activist Pili Tobar who serves as the deputy director of America’s Voice.
Tobar fretted how it would end the ability of Central American illegal aliens to enter the United States on phony asylum claims.
“This decision will cause a chain reaction — Central Americans who are fleeing for their lives being forced back into the burning house they are escaping,” said Pili Tobar, deputy director of America’s Voice, an immigration advocacy group. “A rational approach … is to treat this like the regional refugee crisis that it is and bolster our asylum and refugee process instead of slamming the door shut with a childish hope that migrants will not come or conditions causing them to flee will get better on their own.”
A change is necessary.
The asylum system is overrun as hundreds of thousands of Central American migrants show up at the border and claim asylum which allows them to remain in the United States until their case is heard.
That can take years.
And an increasing number of illegal aliens are not showing up for their asylum hearings and seizing what is effectively amnesty.
Many Americans believe drastic action is needed and President Trump is promising to take his boldest step yet on the border.
And that blew Chuck Schumer’s plans to smithereens.
