America is facing a level of crisis that no one has ever seen before.
All hell is breaking loose on the streets and President Trump stepped up to address the mayhem.
In one phone call, Donald Trump issued this ultimatum for Democrats. Their reaction will put jaws on the floor.
President Trump lost all patience with Democrat mayors and governors that refused to call in the National Guard to put down the left-wing insurgencies rampaging through their cities.
In a call with all 50 governors, Donald Trump stated that governors looked weak by allowing thugs and vandals to ransack businesses and light fires in the streets.
“The only time it’s successful is when you’re weak, and most of you are weak,” the President told the governors.
President Trump made it clear that the failure to contain the mayhem was not because there were not ample resources at the governors’ disposal.
The President cautioned that the elected leadership of cities and states would “look like a bunch of jerks” if they allowed lawless rioters free run of the streets.
“We have all the men and women that you need, but people aren’t calling them up. You have to dominate, if you don’t dominate, you’re wasting your time. They’re going to run all over you and you’re going to look like a bunch of jerks,” President Trump stated.
“You’ve got to arrest people, you have to track people, you have to put them in jail for 10 years and you’ll never see this stuff again,” the President added.
Trump reminded the governors of how New York City finally took strong police action to clean out the Occupy Wall Street protestors as evidence that an overwhelming law enforcement presence can break an insurgency.
“This is like a movement, we found out they’re delivering supplies to various places, to various states, your people know about it now,” President Trump continued. “It’s a movement that if you don’t put it down it will get worse and worse, this is like Occupy Wall Street, it was a disaster, until one day some person said, ‘That’s enough.’”
Finally, President Trump warned the governors that leaders around the world were laughing at them for their weakness.
“You know when other countries watch this, they’re watching this, the next day, ‘wow, they’re really a pushover,’” President Trump declared. “And we can’t be a pushover. And we have all the resources – it’s not like we don’t have the resources. So, I don’t know what you’re doing.”
Democrats did not take the scolding well.
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer claimed it was the President – and not the terrorists in the streets – that ‘sowed hatred and division.’
“The president’s dangerous comments should be gravely concerning to all Americans, because they send a clear signal that this administration is determined to sow the seeds of hatred and division, which I fear will only lead to more violence and destruction,” Whitmer said in a statement.
