The left is going all out against Brett Kavanaugh.
They are pulling out all the stops to block his confirmation.
But President Trump is furious and said the two words that changed everything.
The Accusations Against Kavanaugh
Judge Brett Kavanaugh is facing historic opposition.
Just as he was in his final steps to join the Supreme Court, the left sprang into action.
An 11th hour accusation of sexual misconduct popped up.
He hasn’t faced anything like this throughout his long and successful career.
And it wasn’t just one accusation.
Days after his first accusation, another came out.
And like clock-work, then a third.
The accusations span from his high school years to his time in college.
However, there is no proof to back the claims.
Any one of these accusations dropping earlier in his life would have derailed his career, but all three women waited until his nomination to the Supreme Court.
That’s why many doubt their story.
President Donald Trump Weighs In On Kavanaugh
The most prominent figure in the United States is one of the doubters.
President Donald Trump, who nominated Kavanaugh, came to his defense and made it clear that he knows Judge Kavanaugh to be a good man.
He also knows the Democrats are deceitful.
So he held back nothing in a press conference on the accusations against Kavanaugh.
Talking to a room of reporters, he labeled the investigation into the allegations as a “con job.”
“They know it’s a big, fat con job,” President Trump stated.
The media was stunned at his statement.
But the American people aren’t.
President Trump speaks his mind, which is why so many people support him.
Instead of talking around the accusations, he made what he believes clear immediately.
And he didn’t stop there.
He also made the implications for the attacks against Kavanaugh.
An Anti-Trump Chilling Effect
President Trump points to the chilling effect that can come from these kinds of accusations.
Talking about his record with judicial nominees, Trump touted his success.
He has 145 federal judges he will be picking in the coming weeks.
And his concern is that many qualified candidates will be nervous because of the claims made against Kavanaugh.
They see just how low the Democrats are going with Kavanaugh and may decline in order to avoid a similar fate.
Despite no proof to back up the claims of sexual assault, the left has convicted Kavanaugh in the court of public opinion.
Even if most Americans are on his side, there will forever be a large segment of the population who see him as a sexual predator.
Many qualified judges may not be willing to risk the same outcome.
So it’s a very dangerous strategy for that reason.
