Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation is a witch hunt, and nothing more.
He is doing everything in his power to take down President Trump.
And Trump just told him two things that will change his investigation forever.
Special Counsel Robert Mueller is desperate to take down the president.
He has spent the past two years of his life trying to do just that.
Through his time running his investigation into Russia collusion during the 2016 election, he has come up with no substantial evidence.
But he has gained a lot of ammunition for the anti-Trump resistance to attack the President.
He has jailed multiple former associates for the President, with more in his crosshairs now.
None of their charges have to do with collusion, but they are still propped up in hopes that people don’t understand this.
But the one thing that Mueller hasn’t gotten is a meeting with the President.
He has been trying to sit down with Trump since the beginning.
A sit-down meeting gives Mueller the ability to question Trump about whatever he wants.
And it gives him the ability to try to trap him.
If he can trick Trump into misstating anything, he can be charged with perjury.
For that reason, Trump has continually denied him access.
But in recent weeks Trump finally decided to compromise with Mueller and answer a series of written questions.
It isn’t known what all the questions are, but many can be speculated.
And while full answers aren’t available, there are two questions that are known, along with Trump’s short answer.
CNN claims that the two questions have to do with the 2016 meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and a Russian lawyer, and if he was informed by Roger Stone that WikiLeaks planned to drop information about Hillary Clinton.
For the meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and a Russian lawyer, Trump contends he did not know about the meeting before it happened.
And Trump says that he was not informed about any WikiLeaks release from Stone.
These questions were answered under threat of perjury, so it is unlikely he is lying.
If Mueller can prove he is, Trump can be charged with perjury.
But he almost certainly isn’t, as all the facts prove what he is saying.
The Donald Trump Jr. meeting has time and time again been proven as a big “nothing burger.”
Trump Jr. and others in attendance admitted at the time, and later that the meeting was useless.
And after the meeting, the lawyer in attendance said that Mueller has never attempted to contact her.
If it was something that is relevant, that would almost certainly happen.
And as for his answer to the question of Stone, it mirrors the answer Stone has given since day one.
Stone denies, and has text messages proving he was never in contact with WikiLeaks.
Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks backs up the claim made by Stone.
If Stone had no contact with WikiLeaks, the claim he gave Trump advanced knowledge falls apart easily.
So with these two questions answered, it is unlikely Mueller will be able to take down Trump.
