Donald Trump said it was the biggest political crime in American history.
All hell is breaking loose.
And Donald Trump put jaws on the ground with this bombshell about Hillary Clinton spying on him.
Special counsel John Durham shook up Washington with a court filing alleging that Hillary Clinton’s team schemed with a tech executive to mine servers at the White House and in Trump Tower to look for dirt to generate a false narrative about Donald Trump and Russia during the 2016 election.
In an interview with conservative radio host Michael Savage, Trump blasted the Russian collusion hoax – which Hillary Clinton’s campaign largely invented – as the beginning of a communist takeover of America.
“That to me is the beginning of communism that’s how it all starts. That is the beginning of communism,” Trump added.
When Durham filed his documents in court, the corporate media enacted a blackout of the story.
So-called “reporters” falsely claimed the corporate media ignored the story for 48 hours because Durham’s court filing went public on a Friday and the regular reporters and editors didn’t come back online until Monday.
This – of course – doesn’t pass the smell test.
Corporate media outlets would dedicate flood-the-zone coverage to every development in Robert Mueller’s witch hunt even if the news dropped late on a Friday.
Trump took note of the corporate media bias and double standard at work.
“The press is, I guess, afraid, you’ll tell me, afraid or they’re just bad news or they’re communists and they don’t want to write about it,” Trump added.
It was obvious to Trump – as well as any other sentient human being – what was going on.
The corporate media was so invested in the Russian collusion hoax that reporters could not bring themselves to publish the truth because it would be a story favorable to Trump.
Trump called the media suppression of the story a scandal second only to Clinton and the Deep State spying on his campaign.
“The second biggest scandal is the fact that the newspapers agree that it’s the biggest, but they refuse to write about it because what happened to this country is so bad,” Trump continued.
Republicans in Congress lined up to support Trump.
Florida Congressman Michael Waltz expressed the concern shared by many that the Clinton campaign colluding with its allies in government to spy on its political opponents threatened the very notion of American democracy.
Waltz went so far as to describe what the Clinton campaign did as something out of a banana republic.
“We have the party in charge of all the levers of power colluding with a political campaign to go after an opponent — the opposite side of a presidential campaign to maintain power. That is a banana republic. That’s the definition of it,” Waltz told Fox News.
“It’s really almost hard to believe,” Waltz concluded. “It sounds like a novel, but this is what is unfolding before us. And this is a massive, massive scandal that I don’t think we’ve even seen the beginning of yet.”
