The fake media and liberal politicians will go to extreme lengths to attack President Trump.
Their go-to attack piece has been the disproven “Russia scandal.”
Their latest attempt to provide proof backfired in a hilarious way, and former President Obama isn’t happy about it.
In recentdays, President Trump’s son, Donald Trump, Jr., released emails from Russian officials related to a meeting that he had with Moscow attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya.
The left has attempted to use this meeting to prove the Russian’s colluded with the Trump campaign to influence the 2016 election.
Speaking out to Fox News about the meeting, Donald Trump Jr. disproved those claims by stating:
“This [was] pre-Russia fever. This [was] pre-Russia mania,”
“I don’t think my sirens went [off] or my antenna went up at this time because it wasn’t the issue that it’s been made out to be over the last nine months, ten months.”
“I wouldn’t have even remembered it until you started scouring through this stuff. It was literally just a wasted 20 minutes, which was a shame.”
Despite this, the left continues to parrot the same lies about Russian involvement in the election.
The left was ecstatic about the proof Donald Trump, Jr. met with a Russian lawyer.
That was until some new information came out which linked former President Obama to that meeting.
New reports coming out show the only reason Donald Trump Jr. was able to meet with a Russian official was that President Obama’s Justice Department gave her special permission to enter the country.
“The Obama administration granted the Russian attorney who met with Donald Trump Jr. last June a special type of “parole” to be in the United States after she initially was denied a visa, Fox News has confirmed – though it remains unclear whether she had permission to be in the country when she attended the Trump Tower session.
Well before the June 9, 2016, meeting, she was denied a visa to enter the U.S. in 2015, according to court filings first reported by the Daily Beast. She was granted a “parole” to be in the country from October 2015 through early January 2016. However, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York told Fox News on Thursday that their office did not extend that status.
“She was not granted a second parole by our office,” office James Margolin told Fox News in an email. “Her case-related immigration parole ended early in 2016, and it was not renewed by us.””
The visa for the Russian attorney who met with Donald Trump, Jr. was denied, that was until Obama’s Justice Department gave her a special parole.
This is a very rare occurrence that only is granted under extraordinary circumstances, as explained by The Hill:
“During a court hearing in early January 2016, as Veselnitskaya’s permission to stay in the country was about to expire, federal prosecutors described how rare the grant of parole immigration was as Veselnitskaya pleaded for more time to remain in the United States.
“In October the government bypassed the normal visa process and gave a type of extraordinary permission to enter the country called immigration parole,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Paul Monteleoni explained to the judge during a hearing on Jan. 6, 2016.
“That’s a discretionary act that the statute allows the attorney general to do in extraordinary circumstances. In this case, we did that so that Mr. Katsyv could testify. And we made the further accommodation of allowing his Russian lawyer into the country to assist,” he added.”
What do you think, should the Democrats stop talking about the meeting that they allowed to happen?
