After impeaching President Trump, Democrats think they are finally going to remove him.
But they have virtually no chance in the Senate, making the 2020 election their only opportunity.
And Trump was grinning from ear to ear after getting massive 2020 election news.
President Donald Trump is the third President in history to be impeached.
And he is the first to be impeached despite doing absolutely nothing wrong.
The American people were presented evidence over a multi-week series of hearings in the House.
Mainstream media outlets like CNN and MSNBC aired nothing but these hearings when they were occurring.
In them, Reps. like Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler did their best to make their case.
But polling shows they did a very bad job, with a majority of Americans opposing impeaching President Trump.
Even CNN’s polls show that fact.
At the start of the impeachment debacle, when Nancy Pelosi announced her support, polling showed that a majority of Americans supported the impeachment hearings.
But that was before Trump was able to make his case to the American people.
It didn’t take long for Trump to release his own side of the story in relation to his call with Ukraine’s President, which is backed by transcripts, which destroyed the Democrat narrative.
And the polling flipped, with Democrats losing their majority support, something they haven’t regained.
Not only that, but while Democrats are losing support, Trump has been gaining support on his job approval rating.
At the start of the hearings, his approval rating was at 39% in a Gallup poll.
It was among the lowest it has ever been.
But now, just weeks after the start of the hearings, his approval rating is at 45%, which is only the fifth time his approval has reached that point in a Gallup poll since taking office.
Of course, Gallup is well known for placing Trump well below where he likely is.
They are the same mainstream media pollsters that put out polls showing Trump had no chance to win the election in 2016.
In other polls, which seem to score him higher, like Rasmussen, Trump has been hitting approval ratings at over 50%.
But the most important way to show just how high Trump’s approval rating is comes from comparing him to Barack Obama at the same period.
And consistently Trump has scored multiple points higher than Obama did at the same point in his presidency.
Unsurprisingly, the mainstream media doesn’t really talk about this.
They want you to believe that during the Obama years, the American people stood behind the President, and the division today is simply based on the President.
But in reality, the American people by and large support President Trump.
The mainstream media simply amplifies the anti-Trump voices to the level that they seem much more powerful than they are.
Not only that, but his opposition is far more rapid than Obama was forced to deal with.
