Former Vice President Mike Pence wants to run for president in 2024.
That means Pence will challenge Donald Trump for the Republican Party presidential nomination.
But now Tucker Carlson ended Mike Pence’s career with this revelation.
Mike Pence made the customary stop at New Hampshire’s St. Anselm College that every politician wanting to run for president makes.
Pence generated national headlines by defending the FBI’s police tactics in raiding Donald Trump’s estate on behalf of Joe Biden and the Democrat Party.
“Our party stands with the men and women who stand on the thin blue line at the federal, state, and local levels. These attacks on the FBI must stop,” Pence told the crowd. “Calls to defund the FBI are just as wrong as calls to defund the police.”
The former vice president defended the FBI agents even though it appears the same crew that ran the Russian collusion hoax witch hunt were involved in the break-in at Mar-a-Lago.
That night Tucker Carlson appeared on Laura Ingraham’s Fox News show where Ingraham asked Carlson about Pence’s New Hampshire visit.
Carlson seemed dumbfounded that Pence would delude himself into thinking he was a serious presidential contender.
“What is Mike Pence doing in New Hampshire?” Carlson told Ingraham. “I mean, if Mike Pence doesn’t have a summer house in New Hampshire, then he’s delusional.”
Carlson expanded upon those thoughts telling viewers that Pence was a weak politician that could not stand up to the woke left.
“I mean, Mike Pence is a very nice guy, seems like a nice guy, but he spent four years getting bossed around by Donald Trump like a concubine, as he was bossed around by his donors when he was governor of Indiana,” Carlson continued. “He’s not in a position to lead anything.”
Back in 2016 when Mike Pence served as governor of Indiana, Pence almost tanked his entire political career by folding to the pressure campaign by woke corporations and sports leagues.
Pence signed a religious freedom law but then the NCAA warned Pence it would not hold any collegiate championships in the state and CEOs threatened to take their business elsewhere unless Pence bowed to the homosexual and transgender agenda.
In short order Pence surrendered and rescinded the religious freedom bill.
Polls show Pence was even set to lose his re-election bid in deep red Indiana because conservatives saw Pence as a traitor who sold out to the woke left.
Only Donald Trump tapping Mike Pence as his running mate saved Pence’s fortunes.
Republican voters crave fighters.
Mike Pence is not a fighter.
Pence showed by defending the FBI that his political DNA is that of an establishment Republican that is afraid to stand up and fight the left.
Carlson dismissed Pence’s political future saying Pence should just go home and spoil his grandkids and not waste time running a doomed presidential campaign.
“I think he probably has useful years left in him, and I think he is probably something to add, perhaps probably grandchildren, too,” Carlson declared. “But the idea that he’s going to run for president is, like, delusional, and it’s clearly only benefiting his consultants. And he should fire anyone telling him to go to New Hampshire and run for president, give dumb speeches about the FBI when he has no idea what he’s talking about.”
