Tucker Carlson and Fox News are facing a crisis.
There is no two ways about it.
And in the face of that reality,Tucker Carlson looked into the camera and explained why his career might be over.
At the end of a recent broadcast, Tucker Carlson took some time to address a topic he tries to avoid on his show – and that is talking about himself.
But Carlson had no choice in the matter.
Carlson warned his audience that The New York Times tried to bully him into quitting his show by threatening to run a story exposing his home address.
“Last week, The New York Times began working on a story about where my family and I live,” Carlson explained to his viewers. “As a matter of journalism, there is no conceivable justification for a story like that. The paper is not alleging we’ve done anything wrong, and we haven’t. We pay our taxes. We like our neighbors. We’ve never had a dispute with anyone.”
Since there is no news value to this story, Carlson reasoned that the only justification for running the story was to frighten Carlson and bully him into silence.
“So why is The New York Times doing a story on the location of my family’s house? Well, you know why. To hurt us, to injure my wife and kids so that I will shut up and stop disagreeing with them,” Carlson added.
Carlson informed his viewers why he believed The New York Times was running the story.
Two years ago, a gang of Antifa terrorists menaced his home while his wife and children were present.
Carlson revealed that his wife took shelter and called the police as the Antifa mob banged on the house and damaged the property.
Because of this attack and the constant death threats that leftists mailed to his house, Carlson moved his family.
According to Carlson, the only reason for The New York Times to publish a story about where he lives is to hand the mob a road map to his new residence so they can impose a reign of terror on his family in the hopes Carlson will quit television and stop speaking out on what he believes in.
“Editors there know exactly what will happen to my family when it does run,” Carlson stated. “I called them today, and I told them. But they didn’t care. They hate my politics. They want this show off the air. If one of my children gets hurt because of a story they wrote, they won’t consider it collateral damage. They know it’s the whole point of the exercise: To inflict pain on our family, to terrorize us, to control, we say. That’s the kind of people they are.”
Carlson said he would not give into the gang violence The New York Times is sanctioning and that he would not allow terrorists to silence him.
