A Democrat congressman is part of a shocking scandal that China orchestrated.
And top Democratic leadership turned a blind eye.
Tucker Carlson revealed a Democrat’s sex relationship that put America at risk.
Rep. Eric Swalwell, who accused President Donald Trump of being a Russian agent, had a close relationship with Chinese spy Fang Fang.
Fang, also known as Christine Fang, had relationships with a number of up-and-coming politicians in hopes of getting sensitive information out of them from 2011-2015.
Fang “targeted up-and-coming local politicians in the Bay Area and across the country who had the potential to make it big on the national stage” through “campaign fundraising, extensive networking, personal charisma, and romantic or sexual relationships,” Axios reported exclusively.
Swalwell joined the House Intelligence Committee in 2015, and in that position had access to some of the most important secrets in the American government.
In 2015 the FBI gave Swalwell a “defensive briefing” on Fang.
Fox News host Tucker Carlson revealed Tuesday night that intelligence officials believed that there was a sexual relationship with Fang.
“U.S. Intelligence officials believe Fang had a sexual relationship with Eric Swalwell. We asked Swalwell’s office about that directly today, his staff replied by saying they couldn’t comment on whether or not Swalwell had sexual relationship with Fang because that information might be ‘classified.’ They did not elaborate or explain what they meant by that.” Carlson said.
Carlson also noted that Fang was helpful in getting Swalwell elected.
“Fang apparently pulled in large amounts of money from a variety of sources to help Eric Swalwell get elected to Congress,” Carlson added. “It’s not entirely clear where all of that money came from. We do know that Fang helped Swalwell secure the support of his district’s Asian American community. Political analysts have called that a critical factor in his win in 2012.”
Swalwell said that leadership knew about his relationship to a Chinese spy and blamed Trump for leaking the information.
“It’s something that congressional leadership knew about it,” he told Politico.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said that Swalwell needs to be removed from the Intelligence Committee and from Congress in an interview on Fox News.
“Did Nancy Pelosi know this had transpired when she put him on the Committee?” McCarthy said, later adding, “Did Adam Schiff know as chairman of that Committee that [Swalwell] had this problem?”
The hypocrisy of the Democratic leadership covering for Swalwell’s relationship with a Chinese spy while attacking Trump with baseless claims of Russian collusion is staggering.
Pelosi, Schiff and any other member of Democratic leadership who knew about the relationship need to be held accountable.
They are willing to put America at risk rather than hold their own party member accountable.
