Democrats committed one of the biggest political blunders of all time.
It’s a miscalculation that came straight from the top.
And Tucker Carlson revealed these two words are going to land Nancy Pelosi out of a job.
Over the summer Democrats decided to make their entire election pitch to the voters centered on the left’s support for abortion on demand up until the moment of birth.
Polls consistently showed voters cared most about inflation, the economy, immigration, and crime.
But Democrats did not have a positive story to tell on those topics.
Joe Biden’s trillions in spending caused inflation sending the economy into a downward spiral.
Democrats’ soft-on-crime policies such as no-cash bail caused an epidemic of violent crime.
And Joe Biden rolled back Donald Trump’s immigration policies such as border wall construction and the “Remain in Mexico” protocols to invite an invasion of illegal aliens.
Tucker Carlson took stock of the Democrats’ decision to abandon talking about all the issues voters care about to hone in on abortion.
With less than two weeks left before the midterm election polls showed the momentum shifting in the GOP’s favor in key House, Senate, and gubernatorial elections.
That’s because polls routinely show the Democrats’ position of unregulated abortion up until birth which is funded by the taxpayers is the most unpopular abortion stance pollsters measured.
Carlson said voters realized Democrats were a “child-sacrifice cult” and rejected the party.
“The good news is that for once, lines this preposterous are not working. Abortion politics is a total fixation of Democratic donors, it’s the main thing they care about. Why is that, by the way? It’s a religion. It’s a child-sacrifice cult. Not everyone else feels that way, even Democrats. As the Daily Caller just reported, polls show that, quote, ‘abortion is not a top priority for female voters.’ In fact, quote, ‘most women support abortion limits that would have been considered unconstitutional under the Roe vs. Wade precedent,’” Carlson stated.
Carlson explained Democrat leaders, strategists and donors completely lost touch with the electorate and forgot that most voters reject the extremist social values that dominate New York and San Francisco.
“So it looks like yelling about abortion is definitely not going to be enough to keep Democrats in control of the Congress. Are you surprised by that? No, of course not, you live here. So how did the highly-paid and admittedly pretty smart strategists who figure out what the issues are in the Democratic Party so misjudge this one?” Carlson added. “Well, they did what a lot of us do, they forgot not everyone is like them. Not everyone in America is as miserable as they are. In fact, there are still plenty of people in this country, believe it or not, who have happy marriages.”
The current state of affairs suggest a red wave will hit on November 8.
Pundits, politicians, and election forecasters are only arguing about the size of the victory.
And if the Democrats lose big time in the midterms and the American people oust Nancy Pelosi as speaker for the second time Democrats will only have themselves to blame for leaning in 100 percent on their fringe position of unrestricted abortion.
