The Supreme Court handed down one of its most important decisions ever.
Not everyone was happy.
And Tucker Carlson said three words about Brett Kavanaugh that will leave you speechless.
The Supreme Court allowed Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate for health care workers to take effect.
Trump nominee Brett Kavanaugh cast the deciding vote that now forces doctors and nurses to choose between violating their faith, deeply held beliefs and what they believe to be the science, or keeping their jobs.
Tucker Carlson praised the court for blocking Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate for companies with more than 100 employees, but Carlson ridiculed the justices for claiming to know more about the safety and efficacy of the vaccines than doctors and nurses.
“He’s not God, and the Congress didn’t pass the law. The court decided that vaccine mandate for healthcare workers, by contrast, can remain in place at least for now. But as it stands this ruling is a rejection of yet another dramatic overreach from a completely out of control administration that believes it knows more about health and science than doctors and nurses,” Carlson declared.
Constitutional lawyer Harmeet Dhillon appeared as Carlson’s guest for this segment.
Dhillon agreed it was good news that the court stopped Joe Biden’s authoritarian vaccine mandate for private sector workers.
However, Dhillon also reminded viewers that 10 million health care workers now faced the possibility of losing their job at a time when COVID already caused a shortage of doctors and nurses.
“Three of them have been struck down so far, only the one today with health care workers, which I disagree with, but that has gone forward,” Dhillon explained. “So, 10 million healthcare workers do have to get vaccinated if they wish to keep their jobs in a covered facility is unfortunate, given the massive shortage that we have of healthcare workers right now in our hospitals.”
This upset Carlson who snarked that this mess was Brett Kavanaugh’s fault and mocked Kavanaugh as a “cringing little liberal.”
“Yeah, with no—with no help from Brett Kavanaugh, I notice,” Carlson added.
Conservatives went to the mattresses for Kavanaugh in 2018 after Christine Blasey Ford stepped forward at the last minute with hoax allegations of sexual assault from when the two were teenagers.
But rather than stand with the conservatives who fought for his confirmation, Kavanaugh more often than not tried to win back the respect of the D.C. elite.
This past term, Kavanaugh followed along with the court’s liberals to allow Obamacare to remain in place.
Kavanaugh also refused to throw out a terrible precedent that allows government to discriminate against religious liberty.
In his rulings, Kavanaugh tries to position himself as the conservative liberals can respect.
But that style of judicial opinions has conservatives – like Tucker Carlson – worried that Kavanaugh is just another Chief Justice John Roberts-style squish.
