Ilhan Omar can’t help but cause controversy.
She continues to infuriate every patriot American she can.
And her latest outrageous statement proves she hates America.
From her position on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Ilhan Omar has a lot of power to influence foreign policy.
And that is a terrifying fact for millions of Americans, especially considering her disdain for many of the values that make America what it is, and her hatred for Israel.
But during a recent committee hearing, she took things a bit further.
While discussing escalating tensions in Iran, she essentially became a spokesperson for the terrorist nation while in the hearing room.
She took the nation’s side, and justified their actions by bashing decisions by Trump.
Omar cites Trump’s withdrawal from the disastrous Iran Nuclear Deal, and the assassination of their General, Qassem Soleimani to justify their continued hostility.
“Why would Iran – after we unilaterally left the JCPOA, assassinated Soleimani, destroyed their economy with our sanctions, threatened to bomb their cultural sites – why would they be willing to enter into a better deal with us at this moment?” Omar asked a panel of expert witnesses.
It is one thing to question the intervention in Iran, as some of Trump’s fiercest allies like Matt Gaetz and Rand Paul have done.
But Omar takes it to a completely different level.
Soleimani was a terrorist, which is a fact that even Barack Obama acknowledged during his presidency.
And the Iran Nuclear Deal sent billions of dollars to Iran, which many speculate was used to fund acts of terror around the world.
Even John Kerry acknowledged that fact when he sent the money to Iran during his time as Obama’s Secretary of State.
But Omar continues to go on to bash Trump, claiming that he isn’t capable to negotiate a deal like the one Obama did.
“I think that it is very unlikely that we are going to see the Trump administration capable of bringing the Iranians to the table and negotiating a deal like that,” she said.
Americans who care about their own safety and Israel’s safety should hope that Trump wouldn’t negotiate a deal like Obama did.
The Iran Nuclear Deal, while on the surface may seem like a good deal, had no teeth to it.
There was no real way to hold Iran accountable, and the deal really just gave them more funds to further nuclear research behind closed doors.
With statements like these, one must question Omar’s love for her country.
She has ties to the terrorist-linked Council for American Islamic Relations, and has previously downplayed the attack on 9/11.
President Trump has previously claimed that she hates America, and attacked her for doing so.
He has also suggested that she go back to her home country of Somalia, in order to see how much better the United States is.
After all, she only lives in the U.S. because she was granted asylum here as a child.
