WikiLeaks is known for exposing government secrets.
They were the ones who published 30,000 DNC emails during the 2016 election cycle.
And they had choice words for CNN in a brutal tweet that is breaking the internet.
There is perhaps nobody who is a bigger thorn to corrupt politicians than WikiLeaks.
As a non-partisan organization dedicated to exposing the truth, they regularly leak government documents that expose wrongdoing.
That’s exactly what they did to Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) during the 2016 election.
After leaking 30,000 DNC emails, much was exposed about the corruption of the DNC.
It was found out that the DNC conspired with Hillary Clinton to stop her primary opponent, Bernie Sanders.
That proof of corruption turned many Democrats away from the party, and almost certainly was painful for Hillary in the election.
On top of exposing the DNC, they were responsible for shining a light on illegal government spying during the Obama administration.
But even as the organization known for leaking classified government documents, it seems that even they know when something has gone too far.
On Twitter, they pointed out an occasion where CNN had gone too far with a leak.
They blasted CNN for the turn of events that led towards the leak of a private conversation between President Trump and his former lawyer Michael Cohen.
As explained by WikiLeaks, Cohen secretly recorded Trump, and then his home was raided where the recording was seized, and finally, the tape ended up in the hands of CNN.
The tape was either handed to CNN by the police, or Michael Cohen himself.

In response to their tweet, many people were fired trying to claim that this is what WikiLeaks is known for doing.
But those people are thoroughly misinformed.
WikiLeaks is known for leaking government documents to the public, not leaking a private conversation between a lawyer and his client.
They also leak the full details so everything is in context.
Their leaks also generally come from government whistleblowers, not police officers, possibly put up to it by the deep state.
It is currently popularly believed that the tape was sent to CNN through Cohen himself, yet WikiLeak’s theory of police possibly being responsible could very well be true.
If it was Cohen, it appears he will end up in a world of hurt more than he already is.
Trump’s current lawyer, Rudy Giuliani has already gone on the offensive attacking Cohen for the recording even existing.
He said that Cohen has no credibility and that he is “going to be disbarred.”
Giuliani contends that Trump did nothing wrong in the tapes, and from what has been released that can be easily proven.
The fact that CNN, who has been extremely unfair to Trump, released the tapes shows that it is simply a politically motivated attack.
Politically motivated attacks are nothing new for CNN.
They made Trump into their number one enemy since the day he got into office.
But their attacks aren’t working considering that Americans who elected him still stand with him.
