Obama’s former Attorney General Eric Holder may be the most corrupt government official of all time.
Despite this, he continues to try to remain relevant in the political conversation.
And William Barr is laughing after Eric Holder said one thing about him.
Of the many corrupt government officials in the Obama Administration, Eric Holder is especially bad.
His actions directly led to the deaths of many at the hands of drug cartels, including at least one border patrol agent.
As Attorney General, Eric Holder was involved in the Fast and Furious gun smuggling scandal.
The point of the operation was to smuggle guns to drug cartel members in order to track them.
But that didn’t happen considering they quickly lost track of the guns, only to later find them used in brutal attacks at the hands of drug cartels.
And following the failure of the operation, Holder even referred to the family of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry, who was killed due to Holder’s failure, a “nuisance.”
Throughout his entire time in power following the operation, Holder was slammed for obstructing the investigation into it, even being held in contempt of Congress.
So if there is anybody who has the moral high ground, it isn’t Holder.
But despite that, Holder continues on criticizing President Trump and supporting Democrat candidates for office.
And in a recent interview, he went after current Attorney General William Barr, saying he is “extremely disappointed” in him.
“I’m both surprised and extremely disappointed,” Holder said of Barr in an appearance on Iowa Public Television’s Iowa Press. “I actually thought that he was an institutionalist and I thought that he would actually be at odds with President Trump relatively soon in his tenure, and he has proved to be anything but that.”
The criticism of Barr relates to him releasing Robert Mueller’s report into Russia collusion.
Democrats are furious because Barr is the one who gave them the bad news that Mueller’s report exonerates President Trump.
And they are additionally angry that he will not break the law by releasing the full report without any redactions.
Those redactions are in place in order to comply with the law.
So removing them will violate the law.
But Democrats don’t care and are voting to hold him in contempt of Congress over it.
They are essentially putting him into a no-win situation.
The two options for him are to violate the law, or be held in contempt of Congress.
But President Trump understands this and is standing beside his Attorney General.
The fact that Eric Holder isn’t acknowledging this shows just how corrupt he is.
There has long been speculation that Holder will run for president.
Recently, he ruled out a run in 2020.
But there’s no telling if he will run at some point.
He continues to keep himself in the public eye, appearing on television and at campaign rallies for Democrat candidates.
