Robert Mueller was forced to fire this person from his team.
Her bias against Trump undermined the entire report.
You won’t believe the scandalous Obama team member MSNBC just hired.
Robert Mueller’s investigation was clearly biased against Trump.
He was enraged at the summary that Attorney General William Barr gave of his report even though Barr spoke simple facts.
Mueller found no evidence of collusion and wasn’t willing to clear Trump of the charge of a cover-up.
He complained about it long after Barr, who worked quickly, got the entire report out for the public to read for themselves.
One scandal showed just how biased the people running the Mueller investigation were.
Lisa Page was fired from the investigation because of texts with another FBI agent, Peter Strzok, with whom Page was having an affair.
“The two employees were having an affair (Page is married) and sent each other texts expressing anti-Trump sentiments in early August 2016 – ahead of the election. At one point, Page asked Strzok if Trump would become president. Strzok responded: ‘No. No he won’t. We’ll stop it.’ The pair also discussed an ‘insurance policy’ for if Trump were to win the election.”
It sounds as if the pair was hopeful about Trump getting thrown out of office.
Page resigned from the FBI after the text messages became public and a year later she sued the Justice Department and the FBI because Donald Trump mocked her texts.
“The Privacy Act was enacted to protect individual privacy interests,” her lawsuit read. “Agency records can, and often do, contain highly sensitive personal information… the statute bars the DOJ, the FBI, and other federal agencies from disclosing a covered record ‘about’ an individual unless an exception applies or the individual who is the subject of the record consents in writing to the disclosure. See 5 U.S.C. § 552a. The statute contains no general exception permitting an agency to disclose covered records to the media.”
Because Trump made fun of her, that automatically makes her a victim according to the mainstream media.
“MSNBC commentators have defended both Page and Strzok over the years by dismissing their text messages as merely personal criticisms, separate from their FBI work.” The Federalist reported.
The mainstream media have no reason to defend a married woman, having an affair with her co-worker, who undermined the investigation she was working on.
If the Democrats were smart in going after Trump, they wouldn’t try and protect Lisa Page. She just makes them look bad but the Democrats will defend anyone that Trump doesn’t like.
Instead of allowing her to fade into oblivion, she’s gotten a cushy job at MSNBC as a legal and national security analyst.
“JUST ANNOUNCED: @MSNBC welcomes Former FBI Lawyer @NatSecLisa as an NBC News & MSNBC National Security & Legal Analyst,” MSNBC’s public relations account tweeted.
MSNBC isn’t even pretending to give fair news coverage. They’ll get any help possible to attack President Trump.
