Democrats are pushing every button to boost their failing arguments that the Senate must remove Donald Trump from office.
In their desperation to destroy President Trump Democrats turned to one former GOP turncoat.
And you won’t believe what role John McCain just played in impeachment.
When it came time for Democrats to make their case to the Senate that Donald Trump must be removed from office Adam Schiff and his rogues’ gallery and partisan House Managers claimed the President corrupted American national security for his own political benefit.
Schiff and his cronies offered the far-fetched and ridiculous argument that America had to fight Russia in Ukraine or else America would have to fight Russia over here.
To bolster this un-American argument Schiff played a video clip of the late Senator John McCain claiming military aid to Ukraine was crucial to beating back Russian aggression.
“I think it makes him very nervous, if there were a success in Ukraine in bringing about a free and open society and economic success, which is not the case in Russia,” McCain stated.
Schiff later praised McCain for his alleged foreign policy wisdom to show that somehow Donald Trump did not act with the nation’s best interests at heart.
“Sen. McCain advised that this is a chess match reminiscent of the Cold War and we need to realize that and act accordingly,” Schiff continued ranting that “strong bipartisan support for Ukraine reflected what Sen. McCain said was an opportunity for the United States to undermine Russian leverage in eastern Europe by building, quote, a success in Ukraine.”
That was not the only mention of McCain in the impeachment farce.
As it became clear Democrats’ sham impeachment case fell apart, some Democrats and fake news media members speculated how John McCain would treat this impeachment hoax.
McCain hated President Trump because President Trump put American First at the border and in foreign policy whereas McCain fought for open borders and for America to be a part of the liberal new world order.
Fake news reporters worshipped McCain because McCain’ s entire political brand was built around stabbing conservatives in the back to help Democrats.
The most famous example in the Trump Presidency was McCain betraying Republicans and giving his famed “thumbs down” to signal his vote to kill any chance to repeal the socialist Obamacare scheme.
McCain would certainly have voted for any Democrat witnesses in the impeachment witch hunt and likely opposed calling any of the witnesses the President believed would help him mount his defense.
Democrats wondered if any Republicans would be the new “McCain” by dangling the “prize” of adoring coverage in the fake news media in exchange for selling out the President and Republican voters by joining the Democrats’ calls for new witnesses.
