The use of critical race theory in schools and corporations is becoming one of the biggest issues in America.
Critical race theory is a Marxist ideology that teaches America was founded as racist institutions steeped in white supremacy.
But now this poisonous teaching is being foisted on members of the U.S. military.
Indiana Congressman Jim Banks grilled Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Michael Gilday about Gilday recommending members of the Navy read a book by critical race theory evangelist Ibram X. Kendi.
Banks wanted to know if Gilday knew that Kendi once wrote a column accusing white people of creating the AIDS virus.
Gilday refused to condemn this deranged conspiracy theory.
“I’d have to understand the context in which these statements are made,” Gilday shot back. “I’m not going to sit here and defend cherry-picked quotes from somebody’s book. I’m not going to do that.”
Banks wasn’t accepting that answer who demanded Gilday answer as to why he urged members of the Navy to read a book by one of the leading proponents of critical race theory.
“That is a simple question. Admiral, this is a book that you recommended every sailor in the U.S. Navy read,” Banks responded.
Gilday refused to answer the question and instead tried to claim Banks was the problem for attacking critical race theory.
“This is a bigger issue than Kendi’s book. What this is really about is painting the U.S. military, in this case, the U.S. Navy, as weak, as woke, and we’ve had sailors that spent 341 days at sea last year with minimal port visits,” Gilday stated.
Gilday then fired off a bunch of talking points about social justice that could have been lifted from any critical race theory lesson plan.
“Our strength is in our diversity, and our sailors understand that,” Gilday continued. “Racism in the U.S. is a very complex issue. What we benefit from is an open discussion about those issues. That we don’t try to ignore and rewrite it, but we actually have a discussion about it and there will be various views and I trust sailors will come to an understanding of hopefully separating from fact from fiction.”
Rank and file military members still tend to vote Republican.
The left’s never liked this, and wants to change that reality that the military is one of the few institutions not operating in full service of the Democrat Party agenda.
Indoctrinating the troops with critical race theory is a major plank in the left’s plan to do just that.
