One thing is clear about the 2016 presidential election; nobody on the left expected the outcome.
Now, they are looking for anything to blame their loss on.
And you’ll never guess what Hillary Clinton just blamed for the election.
New pages from Hillary Clinton’s upcoming memoir, titled, “What Happened,” are being steadily leaked.
Her book exposes some of her innermost thoughts on the 2016 election, and her opinions on why it didn’t turn out how she’d like.
The latest pages released reveal the real reason Hillary believes she lost the election.
And, no, it wasn’t her email scandal that was front page news for months.
It wasn’t her out of touch campaign that didn’t reach working-class Americans.
It wasn’t even her treatment of Bernie Sanders, which turned much of the Democrat base against her.
No, in Hillary Clinton’s mind, she lost the election because Americans are sexist.
She believes that the only reason many people voted for Donald Trump is because they are sexist, and don’t like her because she’s a woman.
As reported by The Daily Caller:
Hillary Clinton’s new memoir points to voters’ sexism as a reason for her loss in the 2016 election.
In her upcoming book, titled, “What Happened,” Clinton “writes bluntly that sexism hampered her ability to reach voters effectively,” CNN.com reports.
In one excerpt, she asks, “What makes me such a lightning rod for fury? I’m really asking. I’m at a loss.”
She then answers that question herself, stating, “I think it’s partly because I’m a woman.”
Clinton’s memoir also takes jabs at Bernie Sanders’ supporters, mentioning their sexism as a reason for disagreement. She also claims “Bernie Bros” were “harassing” her supporters online.
“It got ugly and more than a little sexist,” she states.
She also jabs at Sanders himself, stating that he “paved the way” for Donald Trump’s attacks on Clinton as crooked, and accusing his campaign of causing “lasting damage.”
Misogyny and sexism have been trotted out several times as explanations for Clinton’s loss in 2016. Clinton herself alluded to sexism as a reason for her defeat in May, stating “I do think it played a role.”
This statement showcases how truly out of touch Democrats are.
Even after embarrassing themselves in a historic loss, they still don’t realize why they lost, and why they continue to lose.
It also shows that Democrats will likely continue to lose in contested races.
Americans are fed up with establishment politicians like Hillary Clinton believing they are entitled to be in office.
The election of Donald Trump signaled a change in Washington, D.C.
It showed that Americans are ready to take back their government from establishment cronies like Hillary Clinton.
That trend will likely continue if politicians like Hillary Clinton continue to blanket everyone who doesn’t vote for them as “sexist.”
