The 2024 presidential election is about to kick into high gear.
Everyone wants to try and read the tea leaves to figure out what will happen.
And this top Fox News name made a 2024 prediction that will make you sick to your stomach.
Paul Ryan now wields enormous influence at Fox News by virtue of his position on the network’s board of directors.
And Ryan is using that platform to try and help Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, Mitt Romney and the rest of the GOP establishment seize back power from Donald Trump and his conservative supporters.
Paul Ryan was one of the biggest RINOs in Congress before he quit as speaker of the House.
Now Ryan is making a comeback.
Paul Ryan is on a liberal media tour to promote his new book “American Renewal: A Conservative Plan to Strengthen the Social Contract and Save the Country’s Finances” which promotes Ryan’s establishment version of Republicanism which stipulates the GOP should accept the Democrats’ premise on every argument and refuse to fight the left’s big-government agenda.
As part of the media blitz Ryan is speaking on behalf of the GOP establishment — and Fox News since he sits on their board of directors — in trashing Donald Trump and conservatives.
The first leg of that tour took place on CNN where Ryan told a giddy Jake Tapper that Trump’s time leading the Republican Party was over and that Trump would lose the GOP presidential nomination.
“He’s fading fast. He is a proven loser. He cost us the House in ’18, he cost us the White House in ’20, he cost us the Senate again and again and I think we all know that. And I think we’re moving past Trump. I really think that’s the case. I can’t imagine getting him the nomination frankly,” Ryan stated.
Ryan then sat for an interview with the left-wing outlet Semafor where Ryan predicted his pro-open borders, pro-amnesty, pro-trade deals with China vision for the GOP would emerge victorious over the Trump wing.
“I don’t want to get them in trouble. I think Trump populism is waning because he’s proven to be a loser. And I think something’s going to replace it. And the question is, will it just be more sort of aimless populism or will it be principled populism focused on principles and ideas and policies? I think people in Congress are hungry for that,” Ryan declared.
The 2024 presidential election is shaping up not just as a contest to pick the nominee.
It is turning into a proxy war between Donald Trump and grassroots conservatives pitted against Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney and the rest of the GOP establishment.
