A top Democrat is failing miserably at the important job he was given.
He doesn’t deserve to be in the position he got.
Tucker Carlson destroyed a rising Democrat with a brutal piece of truth.
Outside of ports in Los Angeles and Long Beach which are the busiest ports in America,sixty-six cargo ships are waiting.
Local residents say that they’ve never seen anything like this.
The Biden administration has failed to deal with the shipping crisis.
Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg went on paid paternity leave for two months.
Yet his leadership was so negligible that no one even noticed he was gone for over a month.
Buttigieg said in his confirmation hearing that his experience as a former mayor of South Bend, Indiana, America’s 310th most populated city, gave him the experience needed to be secretary of Transportation.
Fox News host Tucker Carlson suggested on his show on Monday that Buttigieg is an “affirmative action” hire.
Carlson contrasted Buttigieg to former Secretary of State Colin Powell who recently passed away.
The Fox News host stated that while Powell always stated that he benefited from affirmative action, he was “legitimately impressive, a very smart, thoughtful, patriotic person” and “deserved to be where he got.”
In contrast Buttigieg doesn’t have qualifications that would make it understandable to make him secretary of Transportation.
“What else for example, but affirmative action could explain the ascent of the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana?” Carlson questioned.“A certain sort of affirmative action program for dwarfish frauds who once worked for McKinsey & Co. Chelsea Clinton may have benefited from this as well.”
Carlson suggested that it might not be a coincidence that America’s transportation infrastructure collapsed under Buttigieg’s leadership.
He then played a clip of Buttigieg’s excuse for the crisis:
“Retail sales are through the roof and if you think about those images of ships, for example, waiting at anchor on the West Coast. You know, every one of those ships is full of record amounts of goods that Americans are buying because demand is up, because income is up, because the President has successfully guided this economy out of the teeth of a terrifying recession.” Buttigieg said on CNN’s “State of the Union with Jake Tapper.”
Carlson noted what a terrible excuse it is.
“Oh, so it’s not the administration’s fault? They’re doing such a good job. You have more money than you can spend and because you’re so rich, you want to spend it on so much stuff that we no longer have enough stuff for you to buy,” he commented.
“So the shortages are in effect your fault for being the undeserved beneficiary of Joe Biden’s economic genius. Got that?” Carlson ended by saying.
