Kamala Harris has even fewer friends in the Democrat Party than she realized.
The knives are out for the unpopular and incompetent Harris.
And now you won’t believe who wants Joe Biden to drop Kamala Harris.
Jill Biden is no fan of Kamala Harris.
In the new book “This Will Not Pass” by New York Times reporters Alexander Burns and Jonathan Martin, they describe a scene where Jill Biden questions the selection of Kamala Harris as Joe Biden’s running mate.
“Speaking in confidence with a close adviser to her husband’s campaign, the future First Lady posed a pointed question. There are millions of people in the United States, she began. Why, she asked, do we have to choose the one who attacked Joe?” Burns and Martin wrote.
Jill Biden was still furious about a scene from the first Democrat presidential debate in 2019 where Kamala Harris all but accused Joe Biden of being a racist for offering up kind words about working with senators that supported racial segregation.
Jill Biden’s spokesman Michael LaRosa did not deny the story or dispute that fact that Jill Biden was not a fan of selecting Kamala Harris to be the vice presidential nominee.
“Many books will be written on the 2020 campaign, with countless retellings of events — some accurate, some inaccurate. The First Lady and her team do not plan to comment on any of them,” LaRosa stated.
During the debate, the moderators asked Harris a question about police supposedly being racist.
Harris used the opportunity to tear into Biden about his comments complimenting segregationist senators.
“So, on the issue of race, I couldn’t agree more that this is an issue that is still not being talked about truthfully and honestly. I—there is not a Black man I know, be he a relative, a friend or a coworker who has not been the subject of some form of profiling or discrimination,” Harris stated. “And I will say also that—that in this campaign, we’ve also heard—and I’m going to now direct this to Vice President Biden. I do not believe you are a racist and I agree with you when you commit yourself to the importance of finding common ground.
“But, I also believe—and it’s personal. And I—I was actually very—it was hurtful to hear you talk about the reputations of two United States senators who built their reputations and career on segregation of race in this country,” Harris added.
Harris then attacked Biden for opposing forced busing of minority students.
“You also worked with them to oppose busing. And you know, there was a little girl in California who was part of the second class to integrate her public schools and she was bused to school every day, and that little girl was me. So, I will tell you that on this subject, it cannot be an intellectual debate among Democrats. We have to take it seriously. We have to act swiftly,” Harris concluded.
Harris left Biden a stammering mess and Harris shot to first place in the polls before her campaign fizzled out.
Martin and Burns were not the only reporters that published stories about Jill Biden fuming about how Harris treated her husband in that debate.
Edward-Isaac Dovere wrote in his book “Battle for the Soul: Inside the Democrats’ Campaigns to Defeat Trump” that Jill Biden launched into a profane tirade over Harris implicating Joe Biden as a racist.
“With what he cares about, what he fights for, what he’s committed to, you get up there and call him a racist without basis?” Jill Biden reportedly ranted. “Go f— yourself,” Dovere wrote.
Again, Jill Biden did not deny her anger at Harris.
“My goodness,” Jill Biden told reporters. “That was two years ago. We’ve moved on from that.”
Joe Biden’s poll numbers continue to sink and his cognitive decline becomes more apparent every day.
That’s why few Democrats actually believe Joe Biden will run for re-election in 2024.
But many of those same Democrats do not want Kamala Harris as the nominee considering she is more unpopular and incompetent than Biden.
And Biden aides may be leaking unflattering stories about Biden to reporters as a measure of revenge for what Harris did to Joe Biden in that debate.
