A horrific tragedy struck in Las Vegas when a deranged gunman killed over 50 innocents and wounded over 500 more.
And Hillary Clinton pounced at the opportunity to leverage it to her political advantage.
But she got caught telling a huge lie that was the worst one of her life.
64-year-old Stephen Paddock opened fire on a country music festival from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel in Las Vegas.
A hailstorm of bullets rained down on innocent concert-goers creating a trail of blood and carnage that was the worst shooting in American history.
While Donald Trump offered words of mourning and healing, others chose a different path.
Hillary Clinton leapt onto social media to use the dead bodies as political fodder for her gun control agenda.
She sent out three tweets that spread fake news about the attack and legislation pro-gun Republicans hoped to have voted on this week.
Las Vegas, we are grieving with you—the victims, those who lost loved ones, the responders, & all affected by this cold-blooded massacre.

The crowd fled at the sound of gunshots.
Imagine the deaths if the shooter had a silencer, which the NRA wants to make easier to get.

Our grief isn’t enough. We can and must put politics aside, stand up to the NRA, and work together to try to stop this from happening again.

Conservatives were quick to call her out for her lies.
Ignorant, irrelevant and exploitative https://t.co/6XWGQxcDPt

Suppressors only reduce by a few decibels, still same decibel level as a jackhammer. https://t.co/aj0AvJMZwv

In the wake of tragedy, Donald Trump delivered the proper response.
He offered sympathy to the dead and their families in coping with their loss.
Trump declared Americans were all praying for the wounded to pull through.
And he spoke words of unity and healing.
Hillary Clinton not only politicized a tragedy at a time when no one is even sure of its horrific extent, but she lied to advance her political agenda.
