It’s clear that Joe Biden isn’t up to the task of being president.
He’s taking a vacation in the middle of a crisis.
There’s a damning question Jen Psaki is refusing to answer at all costs.
Being president of the United States isn’t a ceremonial job that’s just there for appearances.
President Joe Biden is the commander of the American armed forces and at a time of crisis, Biden is taking a vacation.
There are currently thousands, if not tens of thousands of Americans, trapped in territory that has been taken over by terrorists.
Somewhere between 5,000 and 40,000 Americans are still in Afghanistan, according to former Assistant Secretary of State Robert Charles, who served under President George W. Bush.
These people will have to make their own help to the airport in Kabul and the administration told them that it cannot guarantee their safety.
Taliban soldiers are reportedly blocking access to the airport, even for those who have papers.
Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said that U.S. capabilities to venture outside the airport are limited, “I don’t have the capability to go out and extend operations currently into Kabul.”
Biden’s administration has “no plan to evacuate Americans who are still outside of Kabul, as they do not have a way of getting through the Taliban checkpoints outside the capital city,”the Washington Post responded.
Where is Biden in all of this?
He’s on vacation, away from the press relaxing at Camp David.
Biden is hiding from the American public at a critical time, he’s not speaking to world leaders and it isn’t clear that he’s even doing his job at all.
This isn’t normal behavior from the president.
The Biden administration doesn’t even know when Biden will be back from Camp David.
“The president will return to the White House. I don’t have an exact time for you,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said to reporters during the daily briefing.
She said that Biden would do an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos while at Camp David which would air on Wednesday.
She also said that there was the potential for Biden to talk further about the situation in Afghanistan in the future as well as giving an update on COVID.
But she was still unclear when he’d be coming back to the White House.
Senator Tom Cotton (R., Ark.) said on Tuesday that Biden was “shellshocked” at the results of his bad judgement.
“Joe Biden in the last five or six days has been essentially holed up in Camp David, I think shellshocked at how terrible his judgment has proven in the real world,” Cotton said on The Hugh Hewitt Show.
