Nikki Haley’s uphill climb to challenge Donald Trump in the 2024 GOP primary just grew steeper.
Politicians can never recover from embarrassing visuals because voters can’t unsee what they’ve just seen.
And now Nikki Haley is never going to live down this humiliating photo.
Donald Trump created another viral moment on social media by posting a picture morphing Hillary Clinton and Nikki Haley’s faces together and photoshopping Hillary Clinton’s campaign logo into one for Haley.

The Trump gag landed so hard for the same reason any good joke does – it’s based on what audiences already know to be true.
In this case, Nikki Haley really is the Republican Party’s version of Hillary Clinton.
Haley admitted so in her own words.
Back in 2012 Haley told The New York Times that attending a Hillary Clinton speech inspired her to run for office.
“The reason I actually ran for office is because of Hillary Clinton. Everybody was telling me why I shouldn’t run: I was too young, I had small children, I should start at the school board level. I went to Birmingham University, and Hillary Clinton was the keynote speaker on a leadership institute, and she said that when it comes to women running for office, there will be everybody that tells you why you shouldn’t but that’s all the reasons why we need you to do it, and I walked out of there thinking, ‘That’s it. I’m running for office,’” Haley said at the time.
Clinton also inspired Haley’s campaign message.
Like Hillary Clinton in 2016, Haley’s invoked her gender to claim she’s entitled to the presidency.
Nikki Haley 2024 is Hillary Clinton 2016:

Haley’s also pulled from the Hillary Clinton policy playbook.
Both Haley and Clinton firmly support the war in Ukraine as well as every other foreign war.
Haley and Clinton describe the fight in Ukraine – and not the ongoing crisis at the southern border – as the defining national security crisis facing the American people.
During the 2016 campaign Haley and Clinton both opposed Donald Trump’s proposed border wall and plan to ban travel from countries known for supporting terrorism.
Nikki Haley and Hillary Clinton share a lot in common.
And Donald Trump sought to drive that message home in the closing days before the New Hampshire primary by using a politician’s most potent weapon – ridicule.
