Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ criminal case against Donald Trump relating to the 2020 election is falling apart right before her very eyes.
Willis’ scandal is causing Americans to view all the criminal charges Democrats brought against Donald Trump with suspicion.
And Fani Willis slammed the panic button after what this judge demanded she do.
One of Trump’s co-defendants, Michael Roman, filed a blockbuster motion asking Judge Scott McAfee to disqualify Willis and her entire office from his case and dismiss all charges against him.
Roman argued Willis violated conflict-of-interest protocols by hiring her alleged lover Nathan Wade as special prosecutor in the Trump case.
In addition, Roman alleged Willis violated criminal statutes for honest services fraud when Wade used some of the $654,000 he billed Willis’ office to pay for high-end vacations for the couple to Napa Valley and Miami as well as aboard luxury cruise lines.
Judge McAfee ordered Willis to respond by February 2 and McAfee also scheduled oral arguments for a hearing to remove Willis from the case and dismiss the charges on February 15.
Willis paid Wade a higher rate than other prosecutors on the case and Wade billed Willis for 24 hours of work in a single day.
The charges contained in Roman’s document paint a picture of a prosecutor and her alleged lover running the Trump witch hunt to enrich themselves and live a lavish lifestyle all on the taxpayers’ dime.
In the two weeks since these allegations surfaced Willis never denied any of them.
Rather, Willis ran the typical Democrat playbook of falsely claiming to be a victim and playing the race card.
“Wait a minute, God. You did not tell me as a woman of color it would not matter what I did — my motive, my talent, my ability, and my character would be constantly attacked,” Willis raged during remarks at the Big Bethel AME Church in Atlanta. “Oh Lord, they’re going to be mad when they call us out on this nonsense. First thing they’ll say, ‘Oh, she’s going to play the racism card now.’”
But Roman has the receipts.
Wade filed for divorce from his estranged wife one day after his contract with the Fulton County DA’s Office began.
As part of the divorce proceeding, Wade’s wife produced bank statements showing Wade paid for plane tickets to San Francisco and Miami in Willis’ name while the two worked on the Trump 2020 election witch hunt.
