Joe Biden is using the legal system to drop the hammer on Donald Trump.
Americans see Democrat prosecutors indicting Donald Trump for Joe Biden’s political gain.
And what Ron DeSantis told Megyn Kelly about arresting Donald Trump will stop you in your tracks.
With Joe Biden prosecutor Jack Smith piling more bogus charges on Trump in the Mar-a-Lago document case and preparing another partisan indictment in the January 6 witch hunt, Trump’s GOP rivals face the question of if they would pardon Trump if they won the White House.
Megyn Kelly put that question to Ron DeSantis.
DeSantis never said he would pardon Trump and instead said it would not be good for an “80-year-old” former president to rot away in a jail cell.
“Would you commit to pardoning” Trump, asks @MegynKelly.
“I don’t think it would be good for the country to have an almost 80-year-old former president go to prison,” says Gov. @RonDeSantis.

Conservative journalist Julie Kelly was not happy with the subtext of DeSantis’s remarks.
Not only was DeSantis attacking Trump’s age, but DeSantis was also assuming that Trump is guilty, and the Biden Justice Department is justified in bringing the charges against Trump.
“This is a terrible answer with a low-key shot at Trump’s age. No forceful argument about the brazen weaponization of DOJ against Trump and his supporters. This is an unprecedented trajectory that has nothing to do with his age or Nixon or what’s ‘best’ for the country,” Kelly stated.
This was not the only time DeSantis made a misstep about Donald Trump and January 6.
DeSantis recently recycled talking points from Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger by accusing Trump of watching his supporters ransack the Capitol and criticizing Trump for not cracking down harder.
Ron DeSantis says President Trump should have “come out more forcefully” on J6 protestors.

Donald Trump made multiple social media posts that day asking his supporters to go home.
But DeSantis trails badly in the early state and national polls.
And even one of DeSantis’s biggest supporters admitted that the campaign’s best hope for victory is Democrat prosecutors knocking Trump out of the race.
DeSantis has to dance around that topic while not fully defending Donald Trump from the witch hunt criminal charges against him.
