Fani Willis’ criminal charges against Donald Trump are collapsing under the weight of a sex scandal.
Democrats are nervous.
And this surprise witness just ended Fani Willis’ criminal case against Donald Trump.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ RICO indictment against Donald Trump, his aides, lawyers, and supporters teeters on the verge of collapse thanks to a blockbuster court filing by co-defendant Michael Roman.
Roman alleged that Willis hired her lover Nathan Wade – who never tried a felony case – to serve as special prosecutor in the Trump case in a violation of conflict-of-interest protocols.
The motion to disqualify Willis and dismiss the charges also alleged that Willis and Wade used the Trump case to enrich themselves through the misuse of taxpayer funds.
Wade billed Fulton County for $654,000 in his two years working the case and Roman alleged Wade used the funds to pay for luxury vacations on cruise ships and flights to Napa Valley.
Bank records from Wade’s divorce showed Wade allegedly purchasing airline tickets in Willis’ name.
Willis responded to the motion with a filing admitting the sexual relationship with Wade but claiming they didn’t start seeing each other until 2022 which was after the two began working together on the Trump case.
“Although District Attorney Willis and Special Prosecutor Wade have been professional associates and friends since 2019, there was no personal relationship between them in November 2021 at the time of Special Prosecutor Wade’s appointment,” Willis’ motion to quash a subpoena for witness testimony in a February 15 hearing before Judge Scott McAfee stated.
Wade also submitted a sworn affidavit stating he didn’t start dating Willis until after his contract with the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office began.
“In 2022, District Attorney Willis and I developed a personal relationship in addition to our professional association and friendship,” Wade stated in his affidavit.
But then the next shoe dropped.
Roman’s attorney responded to Willis’ motion with a filing stating that two witnesses would provide testimony showing Wade and Willis’ statements to the court were false and that they began their relationship in 2021 before Willis brought Wade on to the Trump case.
One of these witnesses is Wade’s former law partner Terrence Bradley.
Bradley could allegedly testify to the fact that Wade and Willis began their relationship before Willis took office as the Fulton County DA in January 2021.
The second witness, a former Fulton County district attorney employee named Robin Yeartie, would testify that Willis and Wade stayed together at their apartment until “Yeartie’s employment was terminated in 2022.”

Donald Trump’s called this a corrupt prosecution led by partisan Democrats looking to interfere in the 2024 election.
The allegations against Willis are piling up and it’s becoming harder and harder to see how Judge McAfee allows her to stay on the case.
Disqualifying Willis means disqualifying Willis’ entire office meaning the state would have to find an entirely new prosecutor to try this case.
And that could take months if it even ever happens as the scandal surrounding Willis and Wade may have fatally damaged the case to the point that any other prosecutor could view picking it up as toxic to their future career prospects.
