Democrats set up Donald Trump to face criminal trials before the 2024 election.
It’s one of the great frame-ups in American history.
And Donald Trump got blindsided by a judge’s decision in one criminal trial.
Judge Aileen Cannon set an initial trial start date of May 20, 2024, in Joe Biden prosecutor Jack Smith’s politically motivated indictment against Trump in a dispute of documents at Mar-a-Lago.
Democrats and the media believe this is the most serious case against Trump because, unlike the trials in New York City over payments to Stormy Daniels or cases over Trump contesting the 2020 election in Georgia and D.C., this one is the easiest for Democrats to gaslight the public on it not being about helping Joe Biden win re-election.
Of course, the case is entirely about assisting Biden in the 2024 race since Smith demanded a trial start date before the election.
Smith perverted the entire justice system claiming the right to a speedy trial belongs to the government.
A speedy trial in this case is in line with the political needs of Joe Biden and the Democrat Party.
But Smith got some bad news.
Judge Cannon – the only non-leftist judge presiding over a Trump trial – saw the rank unfairness and unconstitutional denial of Trump’s rights by Smith stacking this case and the 2020 election trial in D.C. one on top of the other.
That led to Judge Cannon delaying all pre-trial motions by four months until March 1, 2024.
Cannon dealt Smith another setback when she refused to set a date for a deadline by which Trump must submit notice to the prosecution about what classified information he plans to present at trial.
This delay is critical because this case falls under the Classified Information Procedures Act and a delay in one step of trial grinds everything to a halt.
“At issue is the sequential nature of the seven-stage Cipa process, meaning each previous section has to be completed before the case can proceed to the next section. A delay halfway through the process invariably has the net effect of delaying the entire schedule leading to trial,” the Guardian reports.
Democrats want as many of these trials to take place before the election as possible so they have the best possible chance one will end in a conviction.
Even though all the cases are built on novel legal theories where Trump stands a strong chance to win on appeal, that will take time and Trump won’t be able to clear his name before facing the voters.
The other three cases are rigged show trials with partisan Democrat judges tag-teaming with relentless Democrat prosecutors to do Joe Biden’s bidding.
At least in this case Trump drew a fair lot.
