Megyn Kelly and Donald Trump’s political fortunes have been intertwined since the 2016 election.
Their paths may cross again.
And Megyn Kelly got one new job that will force Trump to make a big decision.
The Republican Party announced NewsNation and the CW will televise the fourth GOP presidential debate scheduled for December in Alabama.
But the big news was the choice of moderators.
In addition to NewsNation anchor Elizabeth Vargas, Megyn Kelly and Washington Free Beacon Editor-in-Chief Eliana Johnson will moderate the debate.

NewsNation is a relatively new media outlet that tries to strike a balanced tone.
Kelly and Johnson are well known conservative media figures.
The Republican National Committee picking fair moderators who will ask questions GOP voters care about is an attempt to address the complaints about the fiasco that was the most recent debate.
NBC televised the debate and put radical left-wing activists Kristen Welker – who was a registered Democrat and whose family donated thousands of dollars to Joe Biden and other Democrats – and Lester Holt on stage as moderators.
Presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy slammed the Republican National Committee saying it should pick moderators like Joe Rogan, Tucker Carlson and Elon Musk to moderate the debate instead of propagandists like Welker who peddled the Russia collusion hoax during her time as NBC White House correspondent.
“Think about who’s moderating this debate, this should be Tucker Carlson, Joe Rogan, Elon Musk. We’d have 10 times the viewership, asking questions the GOP primary voters actually care about and bring in more people to our party. We got Kristen Welker here, you think the Democrats would actually hire Greg Gutfeld to host a Democratic debate?” Ramaswamy asked.
“The fact of the matter, and Kristen I’m gonna use this time cause this is actually about you and the media and the corrupt media establishment, ask you the Trump-Russia collusion hoax that you pushed on this network for years — was that real? Or was that Hillary Clinton made-up disinformation? Answer the question. Go,” Ramaswamy added.
Other conservatives noted that the NBC moderators steered clear of asking questions about topics on Joe Biden’s greatest political vulnerabilities so as to avoid giving the GOP candidates a chance to tell the American people they would fix the biggest problems in the lives of voters.
By design, FWIW. People tune in for first 30-60 minutes and turn the rest off.

Republicans allowing undercover liberal activists to moderate has been a problem forever.
In 2012 former Clinton aide George Stephanopoulos helped the Obama campaign set up the “war on women” ambush by asking Mitt Romney a question about banning birth control.
Before a CNBC debate in 2015, moderator John Harwood submitted a question he planned to ask Jeb Bush to Clinton campaign chairman Jon Podesta to make sure it lined up with attacks Hillary Clinton planned to use should Jeb win the nomination.
The Republican National Committee took one step towards fixing this problem by naming Kelly, Johnson and Vargas the moderators for the next debate.
